The best holiday to North Wales 🏴. And a road trip to remember!
Skipped the motorway and kept ourselves entertained with the views and winding roads.
The Great Orme Tramway was amazing. What a place! No cable car sadly due to the winds but could still spend the whole day here.
Playground up the top Great Orme, which always helps!
A very dramatic drive down to the Rest & be Thankful cafe. So windy that we thought we’d fly away!
Kashmiri goats spotted on the way down to Llandudno town.
Llandudno town was beautiful and bustling. So many options. Had an epic Welsh rarebit at The Loaf sandwich bar. All made fresh and delicious.
Beaches all around with clear water and soft sand. After fish & chips from Scarlett’s Fish and Chips went to the beach in Traeth Trearddur and this one, Porth Dafarch. What a lovely beach! Gotta be better prepared next time for an inevitable beach trip 🌊
Post-beach cake & scones from Wavecrest cafe in the north end of Holyhead. Delicious and of course you can see the sea!!
A visit to The Anglesey transport museum. Charming little museum with loads to see and such a relaxed vibe
Unreal experience walking down to the South Stack lighthouse in Holyhead. Equal parts breathtaking and thrilling.
Guillemots up close by the Lighthouse!
Pleased that the kids were happy. Wind on their faces, loads of space to simply run around and cakes always close!
Beautiful Beaumaris
Very cool seaside town with loads to do. Really enjoyed Red Boat Beaumaris
Just had to take the Seacoast Safaris boat out to Puffin Island! Spotted successfully
Perfect mountain and sea views before we started the road trip back. Enjoyed this with the very delicious Cariad Gelato . Elderberry ripple was too good!
Took the Welsh Black Mountain Pass on the way back. Very exciting!
One of those holidays where everything just seems to work out. Awed by the beauty around us so many times. Wales did not disappoint. ❤️
