All three generations out this afternoon planting the pumpkin patch!

We direct drill our pumpkin seeds into rye, which we then roll down to create a thick mulch, suppressing weeds without chemicals and conserving moisture.
Regenerative techniques like this allow us to improve the health of our soil, and help us remain Carbon negative.

We also had a drone on the farm this morning, which we're using to spread clover seed on our wheat. The clover will grow as a 'living mulch' under the crop, protecting the soil after harvest, fixing nitrogen, and encouraging mychorrizal fungi.

This year we have some fabulous new games and attractions, as well as returning classics like the apple catapult and spooky trail.

Sunflower update!
Summer has returned after a brief interlude, and the flowers are starting to show themselves.
We will be opening our sunflower field from Thursday 19th September. FREE ENTRY this year, if you want pick some flowers to take home, they will be £1 per stem.
We will of course have a range of hot and cold refreshments, snacks and ice cream available.
We'll be open from 10am to 5pm every day.
We look forward to welcoming you to our fields again!

We’re back open!

Thank you for bearing with us. We’ve finally got plenty of fruit and we’re delighted to open our gates once again.

The Strawberries and Blackcurrants are particularly good right now, so why not come and enjoy the outdoors while stocking up on fresh fruit for Wimbledon or the Euros this weekend?

Our opening hours are 10am-6pm, 7-days a week. We will stay open until late July.

Fruit Update
This summer keeps throwing us curveballs and we've run out of fruit again. We will be CLOSED until Friday 5th July.
We're sorry about this, we know many of you have made plans, and it's the last thing we want to do. But with the cool nights we're still getting, the fruit just isn't ripening fast enough to keep up with demand.
Thank you for your understanding and support, we look forward to seeing you next weekend.
