Gary from Pave Aways Construction is not just refurbishing Wellington Market… he’s basically on a one-man mission to shop his way around it too 😄

Every market day, he makes a point of supporting a different stall (we like this strategy, Gary 👏), and today it was our turn at The Green Cove!

Armed with his goody bag—plastic-free chewing gum, reusable tea bags, and a couple of top-notch loose teas (mint and gunpowder green, excellent choices)—he headed back to work fuelled and ready.

We absolutely love seeing this kind of support from the very people helping transform the market. It really does make all the difference 💚

Wellington Market, Shropshire is open throughout the refurbishment works, so come in and see the traders. If you pop in, you might see Jo from The Green Cove, who has lots of great refill and eco-friendly options, and offers great advice if you are unsure of any product.💚

There are signs and plans around the market to help you find any traders who may have moved. Market staff in Hi-Vis jackets are also on hand if you’re looking for a particular stall. Remember to venture into town and check out all the other independent businesses too— parking in Wellington is free. 🅿️

The Wellington Cycle Delivery Scheme is also running as normal. A volunteer on an eco-friendly e-bike can deliver your shopping within three miles of the town centre. Just call 07398 136120 to arrange. 🚲

Sorry been a bit quiet on here lately but we’re back with a few new goodies in store for you!

Dried Papaya, Dried Blueberries and Banana Chips, three amazing products you can refill to enhance your breakfast in the morning or just for a cheeky snack ☺️

The market refurbishment continues however we are STILL situated opposite Catherine’s Bakery by the entrance where Aladins Cave is.
