Gibbet Oak Farm began by supplying the markets. Early in the morning, Dad would drive our produce to Borough Market (a far cry from what it is today). Some 20 years ago, we added a humble honesty box stall on the farm, where you could buy boxes of our fruit. It quickly built up a loyal local following, and grew into a fully-fledged farm shop. Now we supply our customers and many local businesses with home-grown seasonal fruit, including our famed asparagus, cherries, strawberries and raspberries, as well as apples and pears, and our award-winning juices.
To complement our own produce, we seek out the very best local suppliers, to offer a wide selection of meats, bread, dairy, fruit and vegetables, and boast a fantastic range of gourmet ready meals and pies, including an extensive selections of COOK Meals.
In case you’re wondering, we’ve recently changed our name from Gibbet Oak Farm Shop to the Nightingale Farm Shop, but rest assured, we’re the same family and team that you’ve grown to know and love.
Fill your shopping basket with:
Locally produced jams, preserves and chutneys and store cupboard essentials: Kentish produced crackers, tea and coffee; biscuits, tinned goods, sauces, and herbs.

Wines from Gusbourne, Chapel Down and Biddenden vineyards
Beers from Old Dairy and Romney Marsh Brewery
Spirits from Anno Gin and Nip from the Hip
Cider and Perry from our very own Nightingale Cider Co.
Fruit juices – our own award-winning single variety and blended apple and pear juices
On top of catering for all your food and drink needs, you can also stock up on logs, coal and bird food.
