So the time has come and I will be leaving Tesco to start a new job in Dounreay. Thankyou to everyone for your support . This year we have a 2nd donation box , this time its for the Caithness Bikers Annual Christmas Run 2025 , , they are looking for donations of boxes of biscuits , selection boxes , short bread . These goodies will then be distributed to local care homes , Mental health Establishments and community support services . Please if you can help this great event . The box for donations is currently sitting with the Caithness FM toy appeal trolley.

The toy appeal not only makes children happy it alsonprovides some much needed relief for parents who may be working full time and yet still struggle for those extras. It also allows people to think of others, remember loved ones and invest in the future.

Today we remember a much loved lady who was a great supporter of both Caithness FM and the toy appeal from the very early days. Her partner has decided to honour her memory by donating £300 to help our cause which was dear to her heart. Thank you to her family, she is missed

We are now lucky enough to have 3 different musical acts to entertain us all over Christmas,
srating on the 12th of December we have the amazing Pentland Brass Band playing 6.30 to 7.30 ,
23rd of December we have the fantastic Caithness Violinist and on Christmas eve and New year's eve we have the wonderful Scaraben. Cant wait to hear them all play amd get us all in the Christmas spirit. 😊
