🇬🇧 Poppy Appeal 2025 – Supporting Our Veterans 🇬🇧

The Mayor of Tiverton, Cllr Neal Davey, joined Nick Savage, Chairman of the Royal British Legion Tiverton Branch, at Morrisons Tiverton this weekend to support the Poppy Appeal 2025.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by the stall and donated — your support makes a real difference to veterans, serving personnel, and their families. ❤️🌺

Cllr Davey said:

“It was a pleasure to help the Tiverton Branch of the Royal British Legion with the poppy appeal stall in Morrisons on Saturday. I met many customers who were out shopping and many contributed to the appeal.

It is vital that we support veterans who have stood up and served our country, safeguarding our freedoms and way of life.

Remembrance Sunday is approaching this weekend and I hope that Tivertonians will again come out in force to support our veterans and service personnel, as well as to remember those who have given their lives in defence of our country.”

Please come in and support the Salvation Army Christmas present appeal. This year we are joining forces to provide much needed gifts for primary school children in the local area. To ensure every child gets a present this Christmas, please come into store and put any new toys in the drop off point next to the customer cafe.
