Sawrey Lakeland Grass fed Lamb We breed our sheep, lamb them, take them to the butchers and deliver them. We avoid using fertilisers/pesticides and produce our own haylage for winter.

We are proud of our high welfare meats. We hope to share our experiences throughout the year, so that we do not lose touch with the way are food is reared. We need to teach our children what it takes to produce the meat that sustains us so we can sustain traditional farming methods. Only then can we be sure there will be pasture to graze in the future.

And we're off. Had a hypothermic lamb tonight and her sister wasn't looking that great either. Sacked off cumbrian town names as nothing seemed to suit the 2 ewe lambs. Have settled on mowtiwn/rock artists. So welcome you the world, Gloria and Gaynor, I will survive!
