How it all began…
We have always had ducks and chickens ever since I can remember and we were getting so many eggs daily that we just didn't know know what to do with them. One day, I decided that I would put a few boxes on a table outside our house and see if people were interested in buying them. After 2 hours they had all sold and after much excitement I decided that I would try to continue s
elling eggs on the table. It has now been 2 years and I have expanded the stall to sell home made jams, chutneys, fresh vegetables (seasonal) and also free range duck eggs. My life is completely chaotic, having a full time job in London and then commuting back in the evening to make more jams and chutneys. It makes me so happy when such lovely people come and visit the stall to buy a jam or two bringing back their jars and egg boxes for me to reuse. I would just like to say a big thank you to everyone so far for being so nice and honest, especially the lady who brought me 3 bags full of jars (a record total of 50). If you are ever in Wadhurst or nearby then please feel free to visit our little stall, you are even welcome to come and see all the animals.
