So how do you cool off....

Its so hot at the moment so some of our animals have been enjoying a mud bath & water showers today 🥰🥰

Dont forget we're closed on Tuesdays but open the rest of the week 10am-4.30pm

It's gonna be a scorcher today so why don't you pop down for an ice cream & feed some of the animals while you're here 💖 the ice cream machine will be fired up as well as our slushie machines... some of the lambs will be having a pamper day too getting ready for showing in a couple of weeks 🥰 bags of food for the animals you can buy in the shop for £1

Well that was an unexpected arrival... doing the rounds this morning & found these twin girls out in the field with mum 😍😍😍

Farm animals feet always amaze me when they're first born... they're born with jelly type hooves so they don't rupture the mum whilst she's giving birth. They're often called fairy hooves & will harden up over the next day or two. Sheep, goats, cows, pigs & horses all have soft hooves when theyre born.... nature really is amazing 💖💖💖

Woooohoooo.... the freshest cheshire potatoes have just dropped! They're straight out of the ground & in our shop today for the 1st time this year. Hand picked by some friends of ours at their farm in Northwich 💖💖

Poor Apollo was attacked last night by Zeus our other male emu who has his chicks in the next paddock 😢 it looks like zeus has jumped the fence & chased Apollo behind a shed where he got stuck! We managed to get him out & luckily there's no open wounds... he's very badly bruised as you can see in the video & currently fast asleep on me getting lots of cuddles 😂😂😂🥰🥰🥰🥰
