90% of the eggs on sale are laid by rescued hens who now have a home for life. The other 10% are hens that I call "the support crew", these were bought as young stock so that there would be some eggs available all year round. All profit goes directly to feed the birds and to help support the elderly hens who no longer lay but still deserve a long, happy life. Small quantities of speciality eggs for sale including duck, goose, bantam and turkey when in season.
