You may have noticed that the parking bays are very quiet this morning (a little like yesterday)
The parking has been suspended as Hampshire County Council are due to be doing some works both yesterday and today, The sign states "carriageway patching works" The parking suspension will be lifted at 8:00 p.m tonight it states.

Please dont get a parking ticket as they are enforcing it even though no work is currently taking place, but also don't forget you can park in the small car park beside the Co-op, and it is also legal to park in Drift Road, including on the opposite side of the road to the parking bays (please don't block access to any of the houses). We don't want to upset our local residents by suggesting this, but equally losing 2 days takings because customers can't park is not a healthy option either.

No work was carried out yesterday, so that really was a total waste, let's hope they do as stated today 🤞

We have some fabulous tasty and LOCAL produce available this weekend fresh from market with no long miles for transport making it fresh out of the ground/off the vine too.
We love stocking local when we can and this is the perfect time for it - enjoy local seasonal at its finest!

Cheltenham Beetroot.
One of the old varieties of Beetroot, and not one readily available usually.

Renowned for having an exceptionally rich, sweet flavour and being one of the absolute best varieties.

This was a gem of a find at market - enjoy it whilst it is fresh.

We have doublesized punnets of some amazing Raspberries in stock today and at a great value price - especially for their size.

Perfect for eating this week - a punnet disappears in no time here 😍, but given the 250g size they are also brilliant for jam making or freezing if you like to plan ahead!

It's the best time of year to enjoy the variety of fresh melons, and so how about some of these tasty and refreshing offerings - lovely cantaloupes - sweet, aromatic orange flesh with a really refreshing flavour.
Perfect this these temperatures and slightly different to the Snow Melons and Watermelons.

Here's a weekend conundrum for you 😎

A person walks into a Greengrocers shop with a 🍉 telling you they bought it from the a supermarket but would like to know if said 🍉 is ripe enough to eat and asks you for your advice.

Notes:-
It's definitely not the first time this type of thing has happened.
Said person on this occasion didn't purchase anything from said Greengrocers shop

So I ask you, in this scenario, would you be flattered at the assumption of your knowledge or cheeked at the audacity
