Sauce Daddys and Crafty Cat are unable to join us this weekend but Sauce Daddys will be back with us for the first market in April.

Unfortunately due to the weather warning for high winds all day tomorrow, we have taken the decision to cancel tomorrow's market. It's not a decision we make lightly but the safety of all concerned is of paramount importance. We are back on Saturday 18th October. See you then!

Set-up is going nicely today for our late summer food and craft market. All our valued regulars and some exciting new traders for this one. If you're in town for the screen on the green, why not swing by and treat yourself.

We’re back for our final food and craft market of the (metereological) summer tomorrow, and this one will be a bit special. Our food offer is especially strong this time, with established WGC favourites serving up tempting sweet and savoury delights alongside returning names from our illustrious past. Craft-wise, we’re also on point as you might expect, with a range of unique handcrafted gift ideas that are simply unavailable on the high street. Just in time for peak birthday season.

For the early birds, we’re all systems go at 8am and we start packing up our toys at 4pm. Come and say hi, and support your local traders. The future of retail in the Garden City

Well, the rain is definitely making set-up less fun this morning, but it takes more than that to dampen the spirits of the WGC food and craft marketeers. How about popping into town to show your support for this great Welwyn Garden institution - the very backbone of British retail.

We’re on again with a vengeance tomorrow, bringing the good folk of Welwyn Garden City a veritable cornucopia of exotic crafts, grub and objets d’art of the kind you simply won’t find on the high street. As this market falls slap bang in the middle of a wonderful English summer, the weather Gods have decided to celebrate with some seasonal showers and maybe even a bit of thunder. Personally, I think that will make for an extraordinarily refreshing and exciting market, so why not come and join us for some splashing about on Stonehills market square. Bring your wellies. We’ll be trading from 8am to 4’ish. See you there.
