West Bromwich Ramblers West Bromwich Ramblers/walking club. A friendly club, for people from the West Midlands who love to walk. Walks are graded:

A. B. About six miles. prompt. a.m.

Reasonably energetic, & around eight miles in length. Moderate terrain with some hill walking. Generally more even ground & less energetic. Evening Rambles : During the Summer some Friday Evening rambles are organised, by car, meeting at the Car Park at the rear of West Bromwich Town Hall normally at 7 p.m. ( Meeting place under review.) These walks are fairly local and about 4 miles in length

Walking Weekends: are arranged for members periodically through the year further afield. Please ask for details. Coach Pick Up Points are as follows (please note, if you wish to use your car to the start of the walk, please contact the walk secretary for directions, on the phone number given. the club asks for £4.00 contribution to club funds. Coach leaves West Bromwich, (adjacent the Town Hall) at 9.00 a.m. It stops at the Hydes Road pick up at approx. 9.25. The route and stops are shown below. Town Hall, High Street, West Bromwich. ( free parking on Lombard Street car park)

Hydes Road, Junction with Holden Road, Wednesbury. Please note: All members and guests attending should take account of their health & have a reasonable level of mobility since everyone attends at their own risk.

Coach Fares ( As per date of publication but subject to change) Members Adult £ 10.00 (£9.00 if paid in advance) Under 18's £5.00 ( £4.50 if paid in advance) Please Note: It may be necessary at times to amend the program without notification, particularly with bad weather concerns. Non members £9.00 (First two walks/coaches Annual Membership Subscription of £10.00 (or £5.00 for members joining halfway through year) Annual subscriptions due on 1st January. New members joining after 1st November will have a full membership including the coming year. Fares are not returnable unless the coach is fully booked and the seat can be resold. Social Events are on the Friday before a Ramble. These are held at the Gayton Road Community Centre., West Bromwich. Start 7.30p.m **please note, if you wish to travel to the start of a walk by car. The club asks for half the cost of a coach seat, in order to help with coach/club funds**
