❤️A little life update from me ❤️
I've been very quiet on here lately, and many of you have kindly messaged asking about Christmas Pate orders. I apologise for the silence. The last few weeks have been utterly heartbreaking and exhausting time for us, and I needed to step away to look after my family.
On the 28th October, my wonderful Dad, David, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. He really was the kindest, most loving Dad you could ever wish for. An absolute gentleman in every sense, always so dapper, with a twinkle in his eye and the warmest smile. I know he's reunited with my beautiful Mum, Irene, dancing together again in heaven. I miss him more than words can say.
Just four days later, my eldest son Louie (who many of you know is severely disabled) was rushed to hospital struggling to breathe. He became critically ill and was placed in high dependency. At one point the medical team were seriously discussing putting him into an induced coma. By nothing short of a miracle, the grace of God, and the incredible skill and care of the amazing team at Crosshouse Hospital, Louie has pulled through. His recovery is now heading in the most positive direction, and we are so grateful. 🙏
Your messages, cards, flowers, and kindness have meant the world. Thank you from all the family.
I'm now back and ready to fill your homes with Pate this Christmas.
I'll be in touch personally with everyone who has already messaged me over the next few days, and I'll put a proper order post up very soon with delivery dates.
