Are you a passionate chef looking for an opportunity to lead a kitchen with purpose?

Gullivers Farm Shop & Kitchen is looking for an experienced Kitchen Lead to oversee our kitchen operation, lead a fantastic team, and help shape the future of our growing Social Enterprise.

Working with fresh, seasonal ingredients and alongside adults with varying support needs, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality food while creating a positive and inclusive working environment.

What you’ll be doing:
• Leading the day-to-day running of the kitchen
• Menu development and food production
• Maintaining high food safety standards
• Supporting events and supper clubs
• Managing stock and kitchen systems
• Leading and developing the kitchen team

Our Smashed Avocado with Poached Eggs & Salsa Verde is one of those dishes that keeps people coming back.

Seasoned smashed avocado with tomato, lime, coriander and Two Fields olive oil, topped with two free-range Fluffetts poached eggs and salsa verde, all served on toasted artisan sourdough from Bakehouse 24.

Fresh, simple ingredients that speak for themselves.

Meet James 👨‍🍳🌿

You’ll often find James helping out in the kitchen.

From preparing ingredients to supporting the team behind the scenes, James plays an important role in helping get your food ready to be served. It’s a role he genuinely enjoys, and one he’s grown more confident in over time.

At Gullivers, the kitchen is more than just a place where meals are made. It’s a place where skills are developed, confidence grows, and people take pride in being part of a real working team.

We love seeing James get stuck in, lend a hand wherever it’s needed, and continue building on the skills he’s developed along the way.

We’re very lucky to have him as part of the team!
