Anyone know how big the queue is at Hibberts? 🙈

Well, what a different Christmas Eve this is for us, and as much as we miss all of your lovely faces, we are truly enjoying our retirement!

Picture of the rare Hibbert’s sausage that I stashed for the world famous pigs in blankets!

You can take the butcher out of the shop, but there’s no way he’s getting away with not making these!

T-3 days! As you can imagine we have been very busy these last few weeks and for that we are eternally grateful. We decided to close before Christmas as we’re a bit older now 👀 and doing 19 hour days can be quite taxing on the knees! However it’s been like Christmas these last few weeks!
Please be aware that we have now run out of quite a few things as when it’s gone, it’s gone. We have really enjoyed seeing everyone over the last few weeks and your cards, presents and kind words have been much appreciated! We are truly humbled.

Thank You for 80 Wonderful Years.

After proudly serving our community for 80 years, our family butcher’s shop will be closing on Saturday the 1st November 2025 as we retire.

It has been an honour to be part of your lives – from the Sunday roasts to the family celebrations – and we are deeply grateful for your loyalty, friendship, and support through the generations.

This shop has always been more than a business; it has been a part of the community and of our family.

From our family to yours – thank you for 80 unforgettable years.

For those who have paid into the Christmas club all monies will be returned. Please call in to collect.
