We deliver to every Wednesday morning...
The pork pies always fly off our shelves… and once you taste them, it’s easy to see why. 🥧
Made by the Powell family of master butchers, whose roots trace back to Astley, Shropshire, these pies come with generations of tradition behind them. The Powell family ran both a stall in Shrewsbury Market Hall and their Castle Foregate butcher’s shop from the early 1800s right through to the 1960s.
In fact, during World War II, their Castle Foregate shop was said to hold more ration books than any other butcher in the area a true local institution.
Today, that same dedication to quality and craft goes into every pork pie we stock… and judging by how quickly they disappear from the counter, Nantwich definitely approves.
If you’re popping in this week, don’t leave it too late they never stay around for long. 🧀🥧
