We’ll be open for all your Christmas fruit and veg needs today and also on Tuesday the 23rd (9-6pm) and Christmas Eve (9-2pm). As well as loads of our own organic vegetables we’ve got some fantastic citrus, local eggs and homemade preserves.

We’ll be shut from Christmas Day and will reopen on Thursday the 8th of January so now is the time to get stocked up.

Thought I would showcase some of our cutting edge agricultural tech. Our 1972 International 2400 tractor (essentially a 454) has had a new lease of life with a new clutch and we’ve just used it to plant our early Charlotte and Maris Peer potatoes.

Any identifying marks on the potato planter have long rusted/flaked/sloughed off but we think it may be a Ransomes. It’s still pretty reliable despite looking a bit old and ropey.
