As we come to our last day of trading for La Bottega di Pranzo before the Christmas break, we want to pause and say thank you.

Thank you to every customer who walked through our doors, shared a smile, enjoyed a meal, supported us, and made this space feel like home. Your loyalty, kindness, and encouragement have meant more to us than words can express.

To our incredible team – thank you for your hard work, passion, long hours, and heart. You are the soul of La Bottega di Pranzo, and we are so grateful for everything you give, every single day.

This journey has been about more than food. It has been about community, connection, and creating a place where people feel welcome. We couldn’t have done it without you all.

Ciao ragazzi,
Today we unfortunately have to share some sad news.
After a short yet wonderful 18 months, it is with great sadness and reluctance, we’re sorry to let you know that this will be our final week at La Bottega di Pranzo.
We will be closing our doors on Christmas Eve at 4pm, and we will not reopen after that.
This has not been an easy decision for us.
There are many reasons behind it:
– Wage costs continuing to rise, with another increase coming in April 2026
– Utility bills rising by over 30/35%
– Increases in council taxes and business rates
– Food and drink costs up by around 15/20% in the past eight months
-Recent budget giving no relief to small business, only hard decisions.
We know we are not alone, and despite all the wonderful reviews and the love you’ve shown for our Italian sandwiches and products, we’ve reached a point where we must focus fully on our restaurant and ensure we can continue to deliver the authentic Italian food we promise you.
Serving you in our deli has been fantastic—the banter, the laughs, the hugs, the tears, the daily chats…we will never forget any of it.
So let’s finish on a high note! You have until 24 December to come in for your last treat.
Everything on the shelves must go… otherwise our Mastro Pablo will end up eating it all! 😄
Thank you for your fantastic support, your smiles, and your kindness. Help us to go out in sarnie history every day this week, form an orderly queue and bring an umbrella.
