After the incredible success of John’s Corner Bereavement Support, we are so proud and privileged to announce the launch of John's Corner – Young Hearts. 💙

Young Hearts will provide a safe, supportive space for 11–18-year-olds who are living with grief and loss.

Grief can feel incredibly isolating, especially for young people. Young Hearts has been created to ensure they don't have to face those feelings alone. Through peer support, caring mentors, and open conversations, we'll help young people understand their emotions, build connections, and know that it's okay to talk.

If you know a young person who may benefit from being part of Young Hearts, we'd love to hear from you.

& THE GROUND MANAGEMENT TEAM

Everyone at Orrell Red Triangle CC would like to congratulate Mike Abbott and the entire Ground Management Team on being named Ground Management Team of the Year at the Lancashire Cricket Foundation Cricket Collective Awards.

This prestigious award recognises the dedication, commitment and countless hours of hard work that go into maintaining our outstanding facilities and providing the best possible environment for cricket at our club.

Our ground is much more than a cricket venue. It is a hub for the local community, hosting fundraising events for local and national charities, hosting Orrell Live, and welcoming a wide range of cricket, from All stars, Dynamos, women and girls cricket, junior to open age teams, some local schools, inter-league fixtures, Lancashire Cricket Foundation age-group county finals, and Lancashire boys’ and girls’ representative matches.

Much of the team’s work takes place behind the scenes and often goes unnoticed, but it is fundamental to everything we do as a club. The quality of our facilities is a direct reflection of their dedication and pride.

This award is a fitting recognition of the entire Ground Management Team, led by Mike. A thoroughly deserved achievement, congratulations to everyone involved!

🛣️ A huge thank you and ‘would recommend’ to J kearsley contracting for this recent concrete job! Josh and his team undertook the long-overdue renewal of our 2nd entrance on the the ‘back’ yard which leads to CM Fitness - Wigan, and as you can see, it’s made a massive difference. Not only does it look great, but more importantly has improved safety significantly on what is a difficult exit to navigate. Take a quick look at their page, they take on lots of different types of heavy jobs backed up by a lifetime spent on farms! 👌🏻
