Introducing ‘the Egg Man’ 🐓🥚👨🏻

This is Calum, he’s the incredibly hard working son behind the name SWrightandSon

Calum is a devoted farmer, in addition to working in the walled garden, he assists around the estate whenever needed, tractor driving, helping with the dairy herd, and delivering to us here at the Farm Shop.

Calum has developed a real soft spot for his feathered friends in the walled garden, and looking after the girls and collecting the incredible eggs we receive at the shop and cafe are one of his favourite jobs in his busy day.

Be sure to say hello if you see Calum delivering to the cafe and farm shop 👋

Our colourful boxes of farm-fresh eggs are looking particularly lovely in the sunshine! Laid by our happy hens and supplied straight to the Welbeck Farm Shop and The Harley Café - you can’t get much fresher than that. 🐔💗

Padron peppers 🫑 🔥

On the menu at Harley Cafe - Pan fried walled garden Padron peppers, topped with sherry vinegar and flaked sea salt, available from our specials board whilst in-season.

This is a fantastic seasonal dish utilising SWrightandSon Padron peppers, grown just a few hundred metres away.

Padron peppers are also available to buy at the vegetable section in the Farm Shop for you to enjoy at home
