This week we had our annual visit to “la fromagerie” from Christchurch Cathedral School children, ordering their cheese selection in french which was the only language allowed during the whole visit.
This annual event is enjoyed by both the children and our team, long may it last if our shop remains at the heart of Oxford, in the Covered Market.

BLUE CHEESES EVERY CHEF SHOULD KNOW !
Yes! There it is, OXFORD BLUE, in my opinion the best blue cheese, but I admit to having an interest.
Sharp yet creamy, with that distinct English Blue character first developed at its inception in 1994.
Since then it’s had to compete with ever more new British blue cheeses for counter space and customer attention.
But remarkably its consistent quality has made it a favourite with first class airline catering companies giving it repeated public interest and demand.
If you’ve never tried it ask for a taste at our counter at the Covered Market Oxford.
