💰 Calculating Your Own Approximate Quote
Please remember that every shipment is calculated separately. This allows us to make sure that all costs are distributed fairly according to size, weight and, where applicable, the value of your order for customs purposes.
This helps keep things as fair and accurate as possible and avoids customers being overcharged or undercharged. Because of this, we can never give an exact overall cost in advance.
However, you can use the information below to work out a rough estimate of what your order may cost. 👇
🇺🇸 First Payment – Item Cost + Fees
Start with the actual cost of the item, using the price from a Columbus, Ohio store where possible.
Then add:
8% Ohio sales tax
An average fee of £2–£5 per item
Examples of typical fees:
🌶️ Spice packet – approximately £1
🧀 Box of Mac & Cheese – approximately £2
🕯️ Bath & Body Works candle / large box of Little Debbie's – approximately £4
📦 Custom online shopping or items requiring lots of extra packing materials – £5 and above
📦 Second Payment – Shipping, Packing & UK Postage
Once your items are ready to ship, the second payment is calculated based on the shipment itself.
To estimate this:
1️⃣ Find the weight of your item and multiply it by £2.75 per lb. (this figure changes each shipment)
⚠️ If an item is particularly large or bulky, even if it is lightweight, the cost may be adjusted to reflect the amount of space it takes up in the shipping box.
2️⃣ Add an additional £1–£5 per item fee, depending on the item.
3️⃣ Add approximately £1 per item to cover Brooke's packing materials and time. In most cases, this cost usually ranges from around 30p to £2, depending on what is required.
4️⃣ Add UK postage:
📮 Up to 2kg – £3.75
📦 Over 2kg – £7.75
Please note that there can occasionally be variations depending on the size of the items or if a box is particularly large or heavy.

Please try to use the information above to calculate an approximate overall cost before placing your order.
There are only two of us — Brooke and I — and while we can easily generate a first payment quote, calculating the second payment estimate is much more time-consuming.
It requires us to individually look up the weight and dimensions of each item, estimate packing requirements and work out how everything may fit into a shipment. When we receive lots of quote requests, this time really adds up!
