Local isn’t just about distance, it’s about genuine connection. We’re super proud to work with lots of growers, makers and producers from across the Westcountry, keeping supply chains short, relationships strong and creating more value within our local economy!

So when you pop in for a coffee, drink, cake, cheese or a bite to eat, you’re helping support a whole community of local producers too - because good food starts long before it reaches your plate! 😎

(Or as Jim puts it - ‘when we say local we mean it!’ 🤣🤣)

Just a quick heads-up that we’ll be closed on a couple of occasions throughout the summer:
- Sat 21st June - closing at 12
- Thurs 2nd July - closed
- Mon 3rd August - closed
- Mon 31st August - closed

As a family-run business, every now and then we need to swap serving coffees and pouring wine for family time, celebrations and making a few memories of our own.

We appreciate your understanding and never take it for granted!

Today we said goodbye to our longest-serving member of staff, who joined us right at the very beginning of The Acorn, three years ago. Since then, she’s grown up, spread her wings, and apparently decided it’s time to get a full-time job!

We’re going to miss her hugely and want to say a massive thank you for everything she’s done, not just from us, but from all our wonderful customers too.

We’re really proud to say we’ve won Hospitality Business of the Year at the Yeovil Business Awards 🤩

We’re so, so grateful for this award and honestly really proud. As a true family business, The Acorn has always been about creating something special for our community, so to be recognised like this in the town we love means such a lot.

Thank you to everyone who’s supported us - our amazing team, our customers, friends, family and everyone who’s walked through our doors. Yeovil really has backed us from the start and we feel incredibly lucky to be part of such a brilliant community.
