To celebrate world book day that was last week we have a book bundle to donate to a local school.

The books have been provided by The Morrisons foundation recognising the importance of literacy for every child's future.

To enter simply comment your choice of school below and winner will be chosen at random on Friday 13th March!

(Winners will need to collect the pize from Acomb Morrisons Store)

Today I was invited to the foxwood community hub to the annual Christmas lunch. I was lucky enough to be given extra allowance to help towards feeding 70 people from the local area! All the volunteers did a brilliant job cooking, serving and orangising a lovely event. It was also nice to meet Jo the tesco community champion and her manager. Thankyou again for the invite 🎄 I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas 🎄

Rufforth Primary School PTFA

Who has been successful on receiving a grant through the Morrisons Foundation!

Rufforth Primary School PTFA supports the fundraising for the school in york for items/activities not provided by the local authority. The charity was seeking £1,000 for bean bag chairs, lighting, fidgets, tactile toys and games to create a sensory area for SEN pupils.

Well done on being successful, this really is going to make a difference 😊
