A prerequisite for starting up the wine restaurant Batumarani in Batumi was promotion of vine and sea in one context. As far as not only our guests from different countries but citizens of Georgia, living in different regions of our country lack the information that Ajara region is rich with many types of vine and produces high quality wine too. Moreover, according to different historical sources
and archaeological materials it is proved that centuries ago an active transportation of wine through the Black Sea used to be very active. That is why the interior of the wine restaurant Batumarani combines features of Ajara region, the sea and vine (boats loaded with kvevries (are large earthenware vessels used for the fermentation, storage and ageing of traditional Georgian wine) depict the process of transportation wine). Batumarani is the best place for tasting delicious local dishes and wines produced in Ajara, for acquainting with the history of local winery. Batumarani presents five different types of tap wine produced in Ajara (Chkhaveri, Satsuri, Tsolikauri, Aladasturi, Noe), Vodka with honey flavor, with tkemali flavor, Chacha, Vodka with oak flavor. In Batumarani are presented bottled and "top"wine, vodka produced by different wine companies in various parts of Georgia. Batumarani is owned by the LTD "Lunch-Time", which despite restaurant service provides two more services: organization of buffets and food delivery service on the territory of Batumi.
