There are evenings in Hong Kong that feel almost cinematic, where culture, cuisine and conversation come together high above the city, and even the storm outside becomes part of the story.
The music, the warmth of the conversations and the spirit of joyful exchange made the night feel both intimate and deeply meaningful.
A heartfelt thank you to Aaron for his generous hospitality and to Irfan Karabulut for bringing everyone together so thoughtfully for this beautiful post-Eid gathering. It is gatherings like these that remind us how powerful cultural connections can be.
What made the evening even more unforgettable was nature’s dramatic presence. Despite earlier red and amber rainstorm warnings issued by the hk observatory , the signals were lifted by 9:30 pm, just in time for us to witness thunder and lightning dancing across the skyline. Against that electrifying backdrop, the warmth of the gathering inside felt even more magical.
