nbaked crackers, and sweet sensations. As we work to minimize packaging we deliver our food in beautiful ceramic dishes that can be served directly to your table. These can later be returned to La Taula for reuse or utilised in your own kitchen. About Kanch, founder and raw plant-based chef who thrives on the daily hustle of life. Her two main loves are connecting people and creativity thus she brings this together on the table over a delicious raw plant-based meal. At La Taula her mission is to provide delicious plant based cheeses and sweet options making entertaining or simple self indulgence hassle free, fun and healthy. Sustainability is one of her core values!

“I have two young kids, my own business to run plus other commitments and still want to eat well, treat myself and see my friends over a great meal and at times going out and buying something is the easiest option - so out of this I decided to launch La Taula (which means ‘the table’ in Catalan). Sustainability is another one of my key values and am working to reduce packaging step by step. So we have started off by delivering in ceramics which can be re-used or sent back to us.”

Kanch trained under Matthew Kenney Culinary, a plant-based chef-training program developed by the namesake chef, also known as the top classically-trained, celebrity vegan chef and two-time James Beard Award nominee. Born to Indian parents, she grew up in Hong Kong, lived in New York, London and Barcelona. Her two creatures; her son and daughter, not only are her motivation but her reason to smile daily. Her dream life is to be able to make an impact on the way the world eats one plate at a time.

My Story

Hola. Namaste. My name is Kanch, and I am a fashion entrepreneur and plant based chef. I take you on a sensuous culinary journey into plant based cuisine.

Burnt out after a high stress career, I decided to take on healing myself and became a health coach this led me to have a shift in the way I lived and ate. It also ignited my curiosity in food and its healing properties. Born to Indian parents I grew up in an aromatic kitchen where my mother’s spice dabba was her pot of gold and every meal she was the alchemist. This bought me to the realization that her creativity was in the kitchen and the table her soul. I believe on the table the soul of the chef is transparent, the better you eat the better you think.

My commitment is a world where : CULINARY ART MEETS ULTIMATE NUTRITION.
