We’re back with the third edition of “What We Have in Common: 𝓜𝓪𝓻𝓰𝓲𝓽 𝓟𝓵𝓪𝔂”, a safe space to make new friends, and build genuine connections through playful activities in a speed-dating format. ✨
As we get older, making new friends can feel like hardcore task 🥴… but it’s definitely not impossible🦄 It’s no secret that when we meet someone for the first time, we often try to show our best selves. We might act cooler and unbothered than we actually feel 😎 But real friendships aren’t built on perfect first impressions, they grow on you with time through shared experiences, laughs and vulnerabilities 🫂
That’s why this edition is a little different 🎭 We are very excited to collaborate with Maria Nasr, actress, director, writer and founder of Scenescape who will guide us through interactive, experimental performance workshop. No worries, it’s not about becoming an actor rather to learn letting go of overthinking, feeling more present, laughing together, and getting comfortable before we start actually meeting each other. Hopefully, after acting together, there’ll be no need to act later👹🤠
Since it’s 🥵, where better to do all of this than surrounded by nature? 🌳☀️So we gather on Margit Island for a play, connection and lots of fun 👯
Please grab water or your favorite drink (we’ll also have a few drinks available). Blanket or pillow and snack you’d like to share (optional, but always appreciated!)
Program:
🕓 16:00 – Meet & welcome
🎭 16:20 – Workshop with Maria Nasr
💬 17:00 – What We Have in Common (4 rounds with a 5-minute break)
🧺 18:00 – Picnic if we still have the energy left or we could head to a nearby bar for a drink ✨
💸 Admission fee: 3,000 HUF
Please fill out the form in bio. Once you’re registered, we’ll create a WhatsApp group where we’ll share the exact meeting location and any updates before the event 😇
We can’t wait to spend a summer day with you, meet new faces, and discover just how much we have in common. ✨
See you on the grass!
