I’ve always had a soft spot for a good Cubano.

Slow-cooked pork shoulder, smoked ham, cheddar, mustard mayo, sharp pickles all pressed between crisp Cuban-style bread. Sounds simple, but bite in and you’ll get the full story: rich, creamy, tangy, salty, sharp. Everything’s in there, nothing’s trying too hard.

Thank God for gluten, just not in our brownies.

We’ll be honest, we didn’t want to believe it either. But, these brownies are gluten-free. Doesn’t taste like it, though. Dense, fudgy, and a little rude in the best way.

If you’re into rich chocolate and happy accidents, this one’s for you.

Yes, you can eat real food at Peggy’s Grocery too. This one’s our pan-fried fish à la meunière, crispy edges, brown butter vinaigrette that actually does something, and a cherry tomato salad that’s not just there for decoration.

It’s simple, done right, and honestly underrated. Come hungry, leave quietly impressed.
