Skeaghanore West Cork Farm

Skeaghanore West Cork Farm Fresh Farm Duck, grown on a West Cork family run farm! Our fresh farm ducks are barn reared near Ballydehob, West Cork, overlooking roaring water bay.

Their fuller flavour and succulent taste comes from being hand reared longer and being fed a 100% natural cereal-based diet. Our christmas geese have plenty of space to roam and take in the fresh Atlantic air from the West Cork coastline. Our mission is to produce only the very finest, 100% Irish, 100% Natural, with traceability from farm to fork. Our process takes a little longer but you enjoy a better flavour and texture with higher meat content. We always strive to live and work in harmony with our environment which supports us all. We are committed to providing your family with only the very best, most succulent & delicious, natural Irish duck available“.

Stock Update

Just a quick heads-up that we won’t have any fresh duck available next week.

Our cooked range is still available to order online, and we have frozen stock available for our catering and foodservice customers.

Fresh stock will be back the following week!

Thanks as always for your continued support

It was a real privilege to welcome Mary Robinson to Skeaghanore yesterday as she visited to learn more about, and show her support for, indigenous Irish food producers.

Mary’s contribution to Ireland and far beyond is remarkable — from becoming Ireland’s first female President, to her work with the United Nations and her continued leadership on human rights, climate justice and the future of our planet.

This photo is particularly special to us, with three generations of our family together — my parents, ourselves and our children — on the farm and in the business that our family has built over many years.

For our young girls especially, it was wonderful to meet someone who has shown throughout her life that an Irish woman from the west of Ireland can go on to make a difference on the world stage. A pretty special role model to have standing in the yard!

Thank you, Mary, for taking the time to visit, for your interest in what we do, and for continuing to champion Irish communities and producers.

We’re absolutely delighted to share that we’ve made it through to the finals of Blas na hÉireann 2026! 🏆🦆

It’s a fantastic recognition for our small family business and for the hard work our team puts into producing quality Irish duck here in West Cork.

We’re very proud to be among some of Ireland’s finest food producers—fingers crossed for the final! 🤞
