🌿 Not your typical way to make a living…

From foraging what’s in season to watching what’s coming next — it might be a strange way of life, but it’s one Gordon wouldn’t change

(Even if elderflower smells like cat pee… 😅)

A lot of new faces here lately 🌿

So here’s a quick hello — we’re Wild Irish Foragers

We share what’s growing wild across Ireland, from hedgerows to boglands, the benefits of what grows wild, our products & life on the wild farm.

We also wanted to say a big thank you for being here — it really means a lot 🍃💚

Ever visited a wild farm? 🌿

Sharon shares how rewilding transformed the land, and the wildlife that returned once nature was given the space to grow again.

Most people stopped eating wild food for a reason 🌿

After the famine, it became something to avoid but these plants are packed with benefits and have been used for generations

From the Banner county we head to the Rebel county & our lovely Co.Cork stockists are Organico Bantry The English Market, Cork in The Good Food Shop & Urban Pantry Cork. We are immensely grateful to you all for your support of a small artisan food business in the Irish Midlands. Pop into Organico where you will be welcomed by Fleur & her team, there you will find a gem of a shop/deli/cafe. When in Cork city the English Market is a must & Marc at The Good Food Shop has a mind boggling array of produce. A short distance away you will find Corks & our newest stockist Aine another jewel in Corks crown 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

🌿 Most people avoid these…

Nettles and goose grass are two of the most underrated wild plants out there, packed with nutrients like iron, vitamins, and minerals, and used for generations to support everything from energy levels to digestion.

Growing everywhere once you start looking… just often overlooked.

🌼 Dandelions are seriously underrated

Gordon shares why they’re so special, the best time to pick them, and how to prepare the petals. Often seen as just a w**d, dandelions are one of the most versatile and rewarding wild ingredients out there.

We use these bright, seasonal flowers in our Dandelion Petal Infused Shrub and Dandelion Flower Preserve — capturing their unique taste in small batches to enjoy all year round.

You can explore both on our website:
