A word of warning.
Yesterday evening I went down to Bundoran boat quay to find someone has been interfering with the fishing gear in the boat park. They felt it ok to pull pots and ropes out onto the rocks and attempt to fish with them also leaving loose ropes floating around the pier that could easily foul the lifeboat or any boat This is the second time in the last few weeks that this has happened and it won't be tolerated. The gear in the park belongs to and is part of the livelyhood of the local fishermen. The area is well covered with the new CCTV system that was fitted in conjunction with the lifeboat last year. I nor the other fishermen want to have to go through video footage to find the culprit but if this continues we will have to. When this happens and we find who is doing this then we won't be calling the Gardas. It will be them that will need to call them.
If any of the good decent people that shares the use of the pier with us notices anyone interfering with boats or equipment on the pier we would really appreciate it if they could let some of us know.

Thanks again to William Kelly and KK Hydraulics for supplying, putting together and delivering this new stainless steel 12" hauler, motor, spool valve and pump. Always looking after the inshore men and nothing is ever too much trouble. Even Poacher is well impressed! If you need anything hydraulic related look no further. Please god, now,we will get a bit of weather this season to put it all to good use!
