Meat matters to Michael Webb and has mattered to the Webb family for the past 78 years since Jack Webb first came into Castlerea from Ballyhaunis and set up his butcher’s shop. Apart from killing locally-sourced animals, Webb’s makes all its own burgers, cures its own bacon and makes its own sausages. “People come in with recipes and we make them up for them. Then some people come in and want us to make up a special sausage recipe and we do that for them. No job is too big or too small.”
So whether it’s traditionally cured bacon, home-made sausages or locally sourced beef of lamb that you’re after, all can be sourced locally at Webb’s butchers,

Just a rant as people who know me know I have a problem with parking in castlerea I always thought one parking was a great idea but no good if some people park there all morning plus people who work on the street should in my mind park off street even if they may have to walk 3 minutes I don’t think it’s too much to ask just a thought
