Many of our customers may not realise that alongside Walsh's Gourmet Butcher, we operate a second arm of our business—Walsh Meat Producers.

Three years ago, we opened our dedicated production facility here in Clonmel. What began by supplying burgers to local restaurants has grown into a successful business supplying award-winning burgers and bespoke meat products to retailers and foodservice operators throughout Ireland.

We would never have had this opportunity without the support of our shop customers. Your response to our products gave us the confidence to invest, grow and bring our butchery knowledge into food production on a much larger scale. Thank you for continuing to support us.

We also want to thank our fantastic team. Their hard work and commitment to producing consistently high standards every day are what make the business possible.

We’re proud to have created such a niche food-production facility here in Clonmel. It supports local employment, contributes to our local economy and allows us to support Irish agriculture through our commitment to using Irish meat.

Proud moment for all of us at Walsh’s Gourmet Butcher! ⭐

We’re delighted to have two of our products recognised at the Great Taste Awards 2026!

⭐ Spiced Lamb Kofta — 1 Star
⭐⭐ Gourmet Beef Burger — 2 Stars

And we’re especially proud that our Gourmet Beef Burger was one of only two burgers in Ireland to receive 2 Stars this year. 🇮🇪🏆

Both products are handcrafted here in Co. Tipperary, so seeing them recognised at this level is something we’re incredibly proud of.

A huge well done to our team — there’s a lot of hard work, care and attention behind every product that carries the Walsh’s name, and these awards are fantastic recognition of that effort.

From our butchery in Showgrounds Shopping Centre to our specialised production unit, our focus has always been simple: great meat, great products and no compromise on quality.

A huge congratulations to Shauna Browne on becoming the first ever Irish woman to win the WBO European title. 🇮🇪

An incredible achievement that puts both Clonmel and ladies’ boxing firmly in the spotlight. We’re so proud to see one of our own making history.
