This is a wonderful initiative by Leitrim Co.Co.
Recognising the work that is done by so many different groups in Co. Leitrim.
In our opinion there should be more funding ring fenced at department level for small community projects.

And that's a wrap! 🎉

As the curtain falls on the Love Where You Live Awards 2026, we would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of the staff of Leitrim County Council and Leitrim Public Participation Network who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make the event such a success.

From months of planning and preparation to the coordination and support on the night, your dedication, professionalism, and teamwork ensured a memorable celebration of the people and communities that make Leitrim such a special place to live.

Thank you for your hard work, commitment, and enthusiasm. This event would not have been possible without you.

Well done to The Dowra Green Village Group, to the collectors and the people.
It’s wonderful to have a public space as beautiful as Lough Yugan in our community.
