Every time we host a Supper Club, it feels a little bit like magic around The Loom.

Our goal is always the same: to create an experience that transports our guests to Mexico, if only for a few hours. Through flavours, aromas and stories, we hope to bring a little piece of home to the table. 🇲🇽🌽🌶️

Sometimes that means weeks of testing recipes, ingredients marinating for days, a lot of research and even crossing half the city to find the perfect ingredient.

And somehow, when everyone gathers around the table, it all comes together. ✨🍽️

Sunday Brunch of Tortas was such a joy! The star was our homemade Telera Bread; this white, soft roll from the Pan de Sal universe, has a crunchy exterior, it is quite flat and made specifically for tortas with flour, water, yeast, salt and the hands that know how to make it. The classic indentations on the bread that give it its iconic shape, serve to add flexibility to the torta.

15 years ago,Picado started with the idea of creating a small window into Mexico through its food. This week, being named Best Cookery School in Ireland at the 2026 felt incredibly emotional for our whole team.

Thank you to everyone who has taken a class, visited our pantry, come to a pop-up, or supported this project through the years. And overall to my wonderful team, always following this crazy and fantastic dream of mine ❤️❤️❤️ 🇲🇽
