Before we took over Minimal Waste Grocery, Jenny, the founder had started stocking . While she had hoped to find an organic coffee to stock, she loved the ethics of this company and decided that how people are being treated is of most importance.
Moyee makes sure that the people who are growing and picking the coffee earn a living wage.
And they make sure that forests are protected instead of being mowed down.
After we took over we felt like Jenny had made the right decision and at that point, our customers would possibly have revolted if we switched brands of coffee. Really, they love it that much!
Recently we learned that while not certified organic, Moyee coffee is indeed grown organically. Woo hoo!!!
And if that wasn’t exciting enough, Moyee wanted our customers to be able to have freshly ground coffee even if they don’t have their own grinder.
That dream has now come true!
We are so grateful that Neslihan and Allan have delivered our new coffee grinder.

The only thing better than the perfect cup of coffee is drinking it guilt free, knowing people and trees come before profit!
