Over 30 years ago, we received our first payment (see below) for our breaded bacon burgers 🍔, since then we've survived the dotcom bubble, foot & mouth, sulphur dioxide scandal, celtic tiger crash, covid19 and currently the Iran war! With thanks to all our customers that have supported us and all those who have worked with us, so here's to another 30 years???

#11 Ring Fort. As the Summer draws in, this is our final visit into Wonderful West Wicklow and its surrounds. Dún Ailinne is located just beside the motorway at the Kilcullen / Athy road. (The site is not open to the public).

We would like to thank all who took the time to like and comment on the video’s we've made this summer, but a special thanks to those of you who shared our videos, as this is the highest form of compliment! And now we must return to being a food company.

#10 Glenmalure Battle : Into Wonderful West Wicklow and its surrounds. This is to show you some of the heritage in our back yards that we sometimes take for granted. The battle of Glemalure saw a massive defeat of a large English army by the “Firebrand” Fiach Mc Hugh O’Byrne on August 25th 1580. Such was the defeat that panic swept the streets of Dublin as they feared Fiach would take the city, but he hadn’t the resources. Fiach was betrayed by one of his own and killed by the English in Glenmalure in 1597 and his head sent to London to Queen Elizabeth I. The folk song “Follow me up to Carlow” is sung in Fiach’s memory.
