After three hard fought days, against very tough challenges, excellent fellow competitors and a constant clock going tick tock ( everything was timed) our Dorothea came a very close second in the all Ireland Skillnet apprenticeship awards. We would just like to say well done, you were fantastic and left nothing behind you. Months of hard work and training and preparation. Be very proud of yourself Dorothea. Onwards and upwards for the next challenge

🥩 🥩🍖🍖😋😋 We are trying to make life as easy as possible for people here so try this out. Cook in the bag roast beef ( beef from our own farm) in a cook bag, homemade roast potatoes slowly cooked in beef dripping, ready to roast chunky veg in salt & pepper with olive oil. Everything straight in the oven. No basting,no turning,NO worrying you’ll get it wrong. This is bullet proof stuff, even I can’t mess this up.

Best of luck to our apprentice Dorothea as she takes on the All Ireland Skillnet challenge of Best Apprentice Butcher in Ireland. It’s a 3 day challenge in the RDS in Dublin, comprising Boning, prepping, small goods product, innovation and presentation along with several other components. It won’t be easy but we have full faith Dorothea will prevail.
