A Message from Anthony
After many wonderful years serving the community here in Mountbellew, I’ve decided it’s time to hang up the apron. Anthony’s Meat Market will be closing its doors on the 22nd of November.
I want to say a heartfelt thank you to all my loyal customers, friends, neighbours, and suppliers for your incredible support and friendship over the years. It’s been an absolute pleasure to serve this community and to get to know so many of you. The chats, the laughs, and the stories have meant the world to me and will stay with me forever.
A special word of thanks to Ollie, who’s been by my side for almost 30 years. I couldn’t have asked for a better workmate and friend.
And of course, to my family — thank you for all your help, patience, and support through it all.
While it’s the end of an era, I’ll always be grateful for the memories, the friendships, and the strong sense of community that came with running the shop. I feel proud of what we’ve built together and thankful to every person who’s been part of the journey.
Thank you all for making Anthony’s Meat Market such a special part of my life — and of Mountbellew itself.
