Effective from October 2024 acquired Mary’s fish, Galway.

The acquisition solidifies Glenmar Shellfish’s expansion into the West of Ireland, further strengthening its presence nationwide, which spans Dublin, Wexford, Midleton, West Cork and now Galway.

Glenmar Shellfish, known for its premium seafood offerings, has been operating for 40 years and employs 68 people across its operations in Ireland, the UK and Italy. It is supplied by over 150 fishing vessels, ensuring the freshest and highest-quality seafood products.

Mary’s Fish Galway now combines and operates under .

All 15 staff members in Galway remain employed, with a smooth transition and continuity for our lovely customers and suppliers with Mary Kilcommins managing the operation day to day activity , with premium range supply offerings.
