Sweet & Sticky Cocktail Sausages by Sarah Butler

These bite-sized beauties are coated in the ultimate sweet–savory glaze that keeps everyone coming back for more.⁣

Ingredients⁣
Cocktail sausages⁣
Ketchup⁣
Brown sugar⁣
Honey⁣
Worcestershire sauce⁣
Soy sauce⁣
Garlic (minced)⁣

Method⁣
Cook the cocktail sausages until browned and hot.⁣
Mix together ketchup, brown sugar, honey, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce and garlic to make a sticky glaze.⁣
Pour the glaze over the sausages, stir to coat and let them simmer until the sauce thickens and the sausages become glossy and irresistible.⁣

Yes please to Chcolate Biscuit Cake this Christmas.
Ingredients:
300g Signature Tastes Dark Chocolate (chopped into pieces)
200g Signature Tastes Milk Chocolate (chopped into pieces)
100g SuperValu Butter
1 can Condensed Milk
225g Digestive Biscuits
150g Maltesers
4 Crunchie Bars, chopped
3 SuperValu Caramel Bars, chopped
100g mini marshmallows
30g each milk / white chocolate to decorate (melted)
Method:
1. Line an 8-inch (23cm) round cake tin with two layers of cling film or parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, combine butter, dark chocolate and milk chocolate. Place the bowl over a saucepan of simmering water. When the chocolate mixture has fully melted, take it off the heat.
3. Add the condensed milk to the melted chocolate and butter, stirring slowly to combine evenly.
4. Add the biscuits, Maltesers, crunchies, caramel bars and mini marshmallows, stirring well to mix everything together.
5. Pour the chocolate and biscuit mixture into the prepared cake tin, pressing down gently to ensure it sets firmly. Transfer to the fridge and let it chill for two hours.
6. Once set, remove from the fridge and drizzle with the milk and white chocolate and any other sweets you desire. Serve and enjoy!
7. This can store in an airtight container for up to one week.

Croissant Bread & Butter Pudding by Gareth Mullins 🍮🥐⁣

Ingredients:⁣
⁣4 croissants⁣
300ml milk⁣
300ml cream⁣
3 eggs⁣
75g sugar⁣
1 tsp vanilla extract⁣
50g butter⁣
Optional: chocolate chips or dried fruit⁣

Method:⁣

Preheat oven to 180°C.⁣
Slice croissants and arrange in a buttered baking dish.⁣
Whisk milk, cream, eggs, sugar & vanilla into a custard.⁣
Pour over croissants, press down gently to soak.⁣
Dot with butter and sprinkle extras if using.⁣
Bake for 25–30 mins until golden and set.⁣
Serve warm with cream or ice cream for extra indulgence!⁣

Cottage Pie by Sarah Butler 🥩🥔⁣

Nothing says autumn comfort like a hearty cottage pie! Rich, savoury beef filling topped with creamy mashed potatoes—this classic is perfect for chilly evenings and family dinners.⁣

Ingredients:⁣

500g beef mince⁣
1 onion, diced⁣
2 carrots, diced⁣
2 celery sticks, diced⁣
2 garlic cloves, crushed⁣
2 tbsp tomato purée⁣
400ml beef stock⁣
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce⁣
900g SuperValu Rooster potatoes⁣
50g butter⁣
100ml milk⁣
Salt & pepper⁣

Method:⁣

Sauté onion, carrots, celery & garlic until soft.⁣
Add beef mince, cook until browned. Stir in tomato purée, stock & Worcestershire sauce. Simmer for 30 mins.⁣
Boil potatoes, mash with butter & milk until creamy.⁣
Spoon beef mixture into a baking dish, top with mash.⁣
Bake at 200°C for 20–25 mins until golden.⁣
