There’s a lovely buzz about Terryglass this weekend. It’s Terryglass Cultural Weekend, and we’re looking forward to a bumper Lakeshore Community Market alongside all the other happenings around the village.

We’re especially delighted to welcome Vanessa from Vanessa Patterson | Irish Illustrator & Artist , bringing her beautiful artisanal prints inspired by the places, stories and landscapes around Lough Derg. Vanessa stunning new print of Paddys Bar is particularly special this weekend as Paddy’s is celebrating 200 years. What could be more fitting than a beautiful print celebrating a place with such a long history at the heart of the village?

So come along on Saturday, wander around the market, meet our local makers and producers, and soak up the atmosphere of a very special weekend in Terryglass.

A big market day in on Saturday which will coincide with the Terryglass le Chéile Cultural Weekend.

There is loads of exciting activities going on including speedboat trips with Derg Lake Tours , live music in Paddys Bar and The Derg Inn Terryglass , demonstrations, workshops and talks.

A perfect weekend to explore the beautiful village of Terryglass.

We have a lovely market planned for the 19th September as part of the Terryglass le Chéile weekend running from Friday 18th till Sunday 20th September.

Be sure to book in early for the various tours and activities on offer but save time to support our local stall holders too. Organic vegetables, homemade bakes, preserves, sourdough breads, honey, ceramics, art and crafts. All grown or hand made within a 30km radius of Terryglass Village!
