Learn to Batch Cook healthy nutritionally balanced meals with other busy people at MTU Tralee with Lรกr project, this October.
Transition Kerry are excited to partner with Lรกr for a brand new community batch-cooking pilot! ๐งโ๐ณ๐ฑ
Lรกr is a zero-waste, social batch-cooking experience designed to tackle the cost, time, and isolation of daily meal prep. Built as a true 'Third Place,' it is a welcoming community space outside of work and home. In collaboration with Transition Kerry and Tralee Community Allotments, our October 3-part pilot helps you reclaim your midweek evenings, master new culinary skills, and actively sustain local agriculture.
As part of the pilot, you will join us at the Moyderwell Allotments for a wood-fired pizza launch and a hands-on harvesting session, before heading into the MTU Training Kitchens. There, you'll be guided by a professional chef and nutritionist to batch-cook 20+ portions of organic, seasonal meals to stock your freezer for the week. Recipes have been expertly audited to ensure optimal macro balance and sustained energy for busy professionals, and the best part? They handle 100% of the washing up!
100% of the profits from this pilot go directly back to supporting the Tralee Community Allotments.
