OUR HISTORY

When Mary Ann Molloy first opened the doors to Molloy’s Butchers in Waterford in 1932, we wonder did she realise the legacy she was creating? Now over 80 years later, and in our 4th generation of butchers, we continue to perfect the butchery skills, knowledge and expertise that Mary Ann passed on to our grandfather Larry Molloy, when she brought him into the business as a young man. As new generations of Molloys joined the business, we continued to grow and adapt to changing customer needs. We are now bringing our business to a national level through the launch of our e-commerce website.

All of the packaging in these photos is 100% recyclable or compostable.

Our aluminum trays are infinitely recyclable, our labels are compostable and our work with Biobag has helped us to develop a special compostable, beeswax cling film.

Please continue the cycle and reuse, or dispose of our packaging correctly and responsibly 💚

Ham knows the way to our heart ❤️

Putting a ham fillet in the slow cooker at the beginning of the week gives you so many options, for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

In an omelette for breakfast, in salads and sandwiches at lunch, serve with cabbage and potatoes at dinner, to name but a few.

It’s also much cheaper and healthier than always buying packets of ham. Try it yourself 🍖
