Atal Community Day(TinkerFest-2026) Celebration at SSEC, Jandiala Guru

Today was a day filled with innovation, creativity, and learning as we celebrated Atal Community Day (TinkerFest-2026) with great enthusiasm! The ATL Lab proved to be a hub of imagination where young innovators transformed their ideas into reality, nurturing critical thinking, problem-solving, and a spirit of innovation.

The event began on a soulful note with Shabad, setting a positive and inspiring tone.
We had an insightful presentation , followed by an impressive project demonstration by SSEC students, showcasing the power of experiential learning.

There were hands-on activities on basic electronics and DIY projects for students, where they participated enthusiastically and explored learning by doing. Students worked with basic electronic components and DIY robotics kits, enhancing their practical skills and confidence to innovate.

The event was graced by the esteemed presence of our Managing Director Dr. Mangal Singh Kishanpuri and Director-Principal Dr. Amarpreet Kaur, who motivated the students with their inspiring words. They emphasized the importance of innovation, creativity, and practical learning in today’s world, encouraging students to think beyond textbooks and become future-ready problem solvers.

More than 50 students from various schools joined us, making the day truly collaborative and inspiring!

Mega Tinkering Day at SSEC, Jandiala Guru

Today, the students of SSEC, Jandiala Guru enthusiastically participated in Mega Tinkering Day, an inspiring initiative by the Government aimed at bringing schools from across the country together on one platform to celebrate creativity, innovation, and hands-on learning.

As part of this event, our young innovators worked in teams to design and assemble a DIY Vacuum Cleaner. The project allowed them to apply their knowledge of science and engineering in a practical way, encouraging critical thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. From understanding the mechanics to putting together each component, students experienced the complete process of turning an idea into a working model.

This initiative not only promotes technical skills but also nurtures curiosity and confidence among students, motivating them to explore beyond textbooks. It bridges the gap between theoretical learning and practical application, helping them develop 21st-century skills essential for their future.

We are proud of our students for their dedication and creativity, and we appreciate the government’s effort in fostering a culture of innovation in schools. Days like these remind us that the classroom is not confined to four walls—it’s wherever curiosity meets opportunity.
