Primarily there are two motivating factors , public health (due to high levels of food adulteration using chemicals) and the sustenance of farmers practicing natural, non-chemical way
s of cultivation/farming. How your food is grown or raised can have a major impact on your mental and emotional health as well as the environment. Natural & Organic foods often have more beneficial nutrients, such as antioxidants, than chemically grown counterparts and people with allergies to foods, chemicals, or preservatives may find their symptoms lessen or go away when they eat only healthy natural foods. Natural & Organic farming has lot of challenges which tends to discourage farmers for adopting it, few of them are
1) No dedicated insurance policy for Organic Agriculture
2) Certifications are long drawn and tedious , for small farmer
with limited income at it demands waiting period of 3 years. Lack of platforms to sell natural & organic products to urban
buyers.
3) Neighboring farms are not Organic hence there is chance that
the Organic farms are polluted with pesticides, chemicals
used in neighborhood. Yogamrut aims to solve both of the above problems thereby creating a sustainable Organic/Natural farming, a sustainable lifestyle for consumers and a sustainable earth, which is constantly reinvigorated and enriched with organic farming
