We recently conducted a one-day workshop at our factory for B.Tech students, aimed at bridging the gap between education and real-world business exposure.
The session covered:
• Health benefits of jaggery as a natural alternative to sugar
• Traditional methods of jaggery production
• Its applications in the food industry
• Nutritional analysis
• End-to-end supply chain understanding
• Marketing strategies
• Business fundamentals including turnover, profit & loss
Our goal was not just to provide knowledge, but to inspire a mindset shift.
We encouraged students to explore entrepreneurship in agro-based industries, highlighting how traditional products like jaggery hold immense untapped potential in modern markets.
India needs more creators than consumers, more entrepreneurs than job seekers.
