We recently conducted a one-day workshop at our factory for B.Tech students, aimed at bridging the gap between education and real-world business exposure.

The session covered:
• Health benefits of jaggery as a natural alternative to sugar
• Traditional methods of jaggery production
• Its applications in the food industry
• Nutritional analysis
• End-to-end supply chain understanding
• Marketing strategies
• Business fundamentals including turnover, profit & loss

Our goal was not just to provide knowledge, but to inspire a mindset shift.

We encouraged students to explore entrepreneurship in agro-based industries, highlighting how traditional products like jaggery hold immense untapped potential in modern markets.

India needs more creators than consumers, more entrepreneurs than job seekers.

We were delighted to host Food Technology students and faculty members from YCIS, Satara at The Cane Story
The students gained practical experience in modern jaggery processing, filtration methods, product innovation, and the development of value-added sugarcane products. Their eagerness to learn about everything was truly exciting.
At The Cane Story, our mission is not just to produce natural jaggery but also to educate, innovate, and support the future of the food industry.

काल लाडक्या व्हॅलेंटाइनला सोडून, माझ्यासारख्याच वेगवेगळ्या क्षेत्रांत काम करणाऱ्या जवळपास १५० महिलांनी पुणे गाठले. कोणी डॉक्टर, न्यूट्रिशनिस्ट, एंटरप्रेनूर तर कोणी ब्यूटीशियन होते. निमित्त होते आमच्या “Chai Pe Charcha” या व्यासपीठाच्या दुसऱ्या वर्धापन दिनाचे.

कार्यक्रमाची सुरुवात मान्यवरांच्या हस्ते दीपप्रज्वलन करून झाली. त्यानंतर प्रत्येकाने स्वतःविषयी बोलायला सुरुवात केली तेव्हा एक गोष्ट प्रकर्षाने जाणवली — “संघर्ष हा सगळ्यांच्याच वाट्याला आला आहे, पण हार कोणीच मान्य केलेली नाही.”

मलाही बोलण्याची संधी मिळाली आणि मी मनमोकळेपणाने माझा प्रवास मांडला. याआधी मी आमच्या ग्रुपला फक्त जोडली गेले होते; वेळेअभावी सगळ्यांना प्रत्यक्ष भेटता आले नव्हते. तरीही चेतना ताईंनी आमचे जॅगरीचे सर्व प्रॉडक्ट्स सर्वांपर्यंत पोहोचवले होते. त्यामुळे माझ्या प्रॉडक्टमुळे अनेक जणी मला आधीपासूनच परिचित होत्या.

येणारी प्रत्येक महिला माझ्याशी अगदी आपलेपणाने, मैत्रिणीसारखी संवाद साधत होती. घर, ऑफिस, फॅक्टरी इत्यादी जबाबदाऱ्या सांभाळत येणारा ताण पचवून मिळणारा आत्मविश्वास आणि समाधान… खरंच काही औरच नाही का?

🌾 कृषिक २०२६ – एक अविस्मरणीय अनुभव 🌾

कृषिक २०२६ हे प्रदर्शन सालाबादप्रमाणे याही वर्षी खास ठरले. शेतकरी बांधवांसाठी हर एक हंगामातील नवनवीन पिके आणि त्यासाठी लागणारी सर्व उपयुक्त माहिती येथे उपलब्ध करून देण्यात आली होती. प्रॅक्टिकल डेमो प्लॉट्स पाहण्यासाठी देशभरातून तसेच विदेशातूनही मोठ्या संख्येने व्हिजिटर्स आले होते.

आमच्या स्टॉलला हजारो शेतकरी बांधव, संस्थेचे अध्यक्ष आ. राजूदादा पवार, आ. रणजीत आण्णा पवार, PMFME चे नोडल अधिकारी डॉ. नैनवाडे सर, कर्नाटक राज्याचे एग्रीकल्चर चे joint director डॉ.कोळेकर सर, हरियाणा राज्यातून आलेले स्वामीजी, माझे विद्यार्थी, डॉ. राऊत (यवतमाळ) तसेच अतिशय निर्भीड पत्रकार श्री व सौ. राहुल कुलकर्णी यांनी आवर्जून भेट दिली.

सर्व मान्यवरांनी आमची उत्पादने प्रत्यक्ष टेस्ट करून पाहिली आणि आम्हाला अत्यंत सकारात्मक फीडबॅक दिला. विशेषतः श्री व सौ. राहुल जगताप सर यांनी आमच्या jaggery chunks बद्दल दिलेला फीडबॅक आयुष्यभर स्मरणात राहील असा होता.
