Bhopal schoolgirls win gold at national meet
BHOPAL: Girl players of Bhopal brought laurels to the city after two teams of Carmel Convent School BHEL won two gold medals in the ISAFF Indian Open National Aerobics Championship in Goa. The teams will represent the country in the Eurasia Aerobics Championship which is scheduled to be organised from June 9 in Dubai.Principal Dr Sis Kripa Maria said that teams won the gold medals in the under-19 and under-14 age categories. "Our students have made us proud. They have the potential to win medals in the international event also. The performance of both the teams were magnificently superb in their age category making Carmel family and Madhya Pradesh proud," said Dr Maria.
Their coach Seema Gupta said that players are ready to prove their talent in the international round.Both the teams would be now participating in EURASIA AEROBICS CHAMPIONSHI which will be held in Dubai from 9 June 2023 to 12 June 2023 among 23 countries of Asia and Europe," said Gupta.OPEN APP

In U-19 category, the team members were Asmi Raghuwanshi, Saanvi Singh, Aarya Londhe, Mriganka Sahu, Divyanshi Singh, Nayani Manocha, Shreya Sharma and Jesica Chouhan.
In U-14 category, the participants were Disha Malviya, Ruchi Malviya, Darshika Thakur, Diya Unni, Kanishka Choithani and Mimansa Sahu.
